Four (4) door knob sets from historic Anderson House

This auction is for four (4) door knob sets, with deadbolts, from the historic Anderson House. You are bidding on all four sets.

The Anderson House was built in 1938 for Charles B. Anderson. Mr. Anderson had purchased the nearby Baker House – the oldest cracker home in West Pasco County, and decided to build his own two story house about 50 yards to the east in what is now called Centennial Park. Pasco County purchased the property from Anderson’s granddaughter in 1983, and it was leased to the Pasco Fine Arts Council beginning in 1986. The house was added to the National Registry of Historic Places in 1996. After falling into disrepair, it was finally razed to make room for a neighborhood park.

These door knob sets are original from when the house was built, and in good working order. Each set contains two doorknobs and spindle, lock body with deadbolt, and two faceplates. In addition to the four door knob sets there is a matching electric doorbell button switch. Condition can be seen from photos. The deadbolt is activated with a skeleton key. If you are looking to finish the wooden interior doors of your office or house with authentic historical antique hardware, these might be just what you are looking for.

This auction will end at midnight on Saturday, April 27th. The winning bidder must make payment by cash, check or credit card, and pick up the door knob sets at our Rao Musunuru, MD Museum & Library in Sims Park, downtown New Port Richey.
