Touring the Museum

The West Pasco Historical Society welcomes you to tour our Rao Musunuru, M.D. Museum & Library. Located in downtown New Port Richey at Sims Park, the museum is housed in a renovated 1915 schoolhouse moved to this location in 1980. Our hours and admission prices can be found on the home page of this website. Our docents will be happy to point out highlights of our exhibits as you tour the museum.

The West Pasco Historical Society library occupies a wing of the museum, and contains hundreds of books on the history of Pasco County and the State of Florida. Our collection includes many historic maps, original copies of local newspapers, and an extensive assortment of yearbooks from local schools.

We also welcome group tours of the Rao Musunuru, M.D. Museum & Library. General and specialized tours can be scheduled for adult groups and school field trips. Click the buttons below for more information about group tours, and to fill out a group tour request form.
