            Sir:

            In reply to your communication of the 15th, the Maj Genl. Comd’g desires me to inform you that he gave directions to have you name inserted on the Roll of the Bureau R.F. & A.L. as Civil Agent, with a salary of one Hundred dollars ($100) per month, from the 1st day of August 1866.

** This letter gives the orders to add Perry G. Wall, judge of Hernando County, to the rosters of Civil Agents for the Bureau.  The Civil Agents received $100 a month for their services and reported to the Sub Assistant District Agents.  Civil Agent Perry G. Wall reported to Sub Asst District Agent William G. Vance who was the Agent that oversaw Bureau activities for Hernando County.
