Elfers Exhibit

Elfers is one of the oldest communities in West Pasco County, and was home to a thriving citrus industry as early as 1910. The Tampa and Gulf Coast railroad was extended from Tarpon Springs to Elfers in 1913 in order to serve the citrus packing plant. The line was later extended to New Port Richey.
