HISTORY OF ZEPHYRHILLS HIGH SCHOOLHighlights of 1920School Notes, Zephyrhills Colonist, November 11, 1920 The school is practicing for the Armistice sing. The days do not seem right now that the opening hour has been moved from 8:30 to 9:00 o’clock. It seems a long time till noon. Misses Lue Genia and Alice Culbreath are back again after a week spent in recuperating at home in Bushnell. Inverness will test the metal of our basket ball boys today. Were it not so far, our ZHS girls would play also. Two of the rooms are over-crowded. There are 57 in the second-third grade room and 52 in the sixth-seventh grade room. Such should not be the case. Photo above is courtesy the Pioneeer Museum in Dade City and has the written message, “Zephyrhills Hi 9th grade—1920.
